The Artistic Pony, Ltd. opened it's doors in August of 2006.  Our goal was to create a special place where locals and tourists would like to come and enjoy beautiful jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.  We believe jewelry should be experienced and "played with".  Trying on items you wouldn't normally wear is half the fun!  Throughout our first year we discovered our customers thought we were on the right track.

What we didn't know in the beginning was that there was so much talent right here in the Santa Ynez Valley.  Artists who made handcrafted jewelry and glasswares began emerging.  We grew from a couple of local artists to over 20 to date and still growing.  This adds an extremely creative dynamic to our product line and gives our customers an item that is truly a treasure.

Because everyone has a different idea of what beautiful is we carry items that are handmade and handpicked.  We carry items that we have purchased that we feel are of superior quality and design.  This allows us to meet the needs of your traditional and eclectic sides.

2009 brought a new set of challenges for everyone. This year we are in a Brand New Location on  newly revitalized First Street in down town Solvang.   We invite you to come and see us.  Solvang will be celecrating it's Centennial in 2011 and the town is getting ready in style!  Changes will also be made to our website and we are also on Facebook so you can keep up with all the latest.
